Brandon Ponce is a Bay Area design engineer shipping ambitious products and brands.

Ethos

I make things for people who care how things are made.

Ten years beside founders, usually the only designer in the room. Product, brand, web, packaging, launch. Design is not the surface. It is the decision underneath: the tenth pass on the spacing nobody will name and everybody will feel.

Since 2025 I ship the code too. The distance between the idea and the thing has never been shorter.

Alārium Live 3D airspace tracker

A live map of the sky in three dimensions. Aircraft drawn where they are in the air, on a basemap I drew for it. My first product built end to end, and it is still shipping.

athletical.ly Marketing website

A marketing site for a platform that gives amateur leagues pro-grade tools. Custom graphics, hand-built components, real motion. I designed it, coded it, and handed over a repo their engineers had running in minutes.

Hivemapper Website, store, packaging, campaigns

Two years as the designer for a decentralized mapping network. The website redesign shipped with engineering, the store, the Dashcam S box, hundreds of launch pieces shipped weekly with the founders, and Open Road, a postcard campaign around the world.

Bee Maps Website, Beekeeper, developer tools, app

Four surfaces for one company, designed as one system. A marketing site built for a technical buyer, Beekeeper for the fleets that run the dashcams, the developer console, and the mobile app. I was the design lead on all of it.

Archive

Everything else, 2015 to now. Product, marketing, motion, brand, identity, logos, packaging and a few experiments. Some of it client work, some of it for the love of it.

Let's make something worth remembering.

Ambitious projects. Creative leaders. Teams that want a designer who pushes. If that is you, I'd like to hear about it. Email is fastest.

No forms in the void. I read every one.
