HALO — Brand Identity
Overview
HALO is a conceptual brand identity for the future of space travel — a rideshare for rockets that moves people between planets and orbital bases the way Uber moves them across a city. I designed a premium, unmistakably future-facing system and carried it across every touchpoint — logo and app, physical signage, packaging, and apparel — all anchored by the tagline, “Above the Rest.”
Highlights
- Built a complete identity system — logo, app icon, type, and color — tuned to read as premium and unmistakably future-facing.
- Extended the brand into physical space with day and night terminal signage designed to hold up at scale and after dark.
- Designed the HALO app end to end — sign-up and citizenship verification, trip booking, live trip tracking, and a digital boarding pass.
- Carried the identity onto branded packaging and travel gear — shipping boxes, a puffer jacket, and a duffle bag — so the brand travels with the customer.
- Anchored the whole system to one promise — “Above the Rest” — that doubles as tagline and positioning.
Role
Sole designer. Owned the brand end to end — identity system, physical and digital touchpoints, packaging, and apparel — as a self-initiated concept.
Notes
HALO began as a what-if: if rideshare met spaceflight, what would that brand feel like? I treated it like a real launch — a cohesive system stretched across signage, product, packaging, and merch — pushing a premium, future-forward identity as far as I could take it.
