Hivemapper Website — Website Redesign
Overview
A high-clarity website redesign that makes Hivemapper's network progress, coverage, and product story legible in seconds, with visuals and data doing most of the talking.
Highlights
- Rebuilt the page structure around proof: coverage map, growth indicators, crisp tables, and clean hierarchy.
- Designed an interactive coverage experience using Mapbox, with region boundaries and information overlays.
- Introduced motion with restraint: numbers that count up on load, and sections that animate in on scroll to guide attention without noise.
- Consolidated typography and spacing, removed visual clutter, and standardized icon usage to create a more premium read.
Role
Sole designer. Worked closely with frontend and backend engineering. CEO and marketing partnered on direction and final approvals.
Notes
This project was about trust and scanability. The audience is primarily Web3 and crypto, but the site still needed to feel credible to partners and data buyers. I focused on information hierarchy and visual evidence so the story lands quickly: what the network is, how it is growing, and what makes it valuable.
Tools
Figma, Mapbox, ChatGPT, Premiere Pro, Photoshop
